gentle thrills is a one-person operation! generally speaking, your order should get to you in about 1-2 weeks.
when i generate a shipping label for your order, you will receive a shipment notification e-mail with a tracking number. the tracking number will update as soon as your package is picked up by the carrier and they scan it into their system. pickup should happen within 48 hours of you receiving the shipment notification email, but sometimes it may take a bit longer! please remember that once a package is in the custody of the postal carrier i no longer have ANY control over its arrival, information about where the carrier left it when it was delivered, etc.

holiday/birthday shipping
if you need your item by ANY specific date, please click here to contact us directly to coordinate or a great practice is to always LEAVE A NOTE with your order at checkout letting us know when you need to receive it by and that it is a gift!
i promise i will always do my best to meet your time-sensitive needs but after the parcel is in postal carrier custody it is in *their* hands!
i do include a packing slip with every order that states the price of the items--so do let me know if you'd like that left out.

haven't received your order yet? or only received part of your order?
first things first, check the tracking information that came in your shipping confirmation e-mail!
if your tracking number says the order has arrived but it isn't in your mailbox, check with your postal worker and your neighbors and give it at least 24 hours--sometimes the orders are marked "delivered" prematurely on the USPS site, but wont show up for several days after the fact.
if you have done the above to no avail, please contact us with your order number and we will do our best to clarify and assist you!
please bear in mind that we have no control over the package after it is picked up by the carrier.

wondering why your order is still in pre-shipment status?
there may be a number of reasons for this:
1. your order may contain an item that has been unexpectedly delayed. we post about product delays on our instagram story and feed.
2. the label for your order has been printed, but it hasn't yet been packed.
3. your order has been packed but has yet to be picked up by USPS or dropped off at a UPS location.
4. your order has been picked up by USPS or UPS but hasn't been scanned into their system yet.

order lost, damaged, or stolen?
in the unfortunate case that your order never arrives or is somehow defective or damaged en route, please contact us so we can resolve this with a refund, store credit, or replacement!

USA shipping rates
for domestic orders, i ship via the united states postal service (USPS) and UPS from los angeles, california. rates are based on weight and distance the order will travel with a small markup to cover the cost of the mailer and insurance for your order should it get lost.
i can switch your preferred shipping method if you contact me BEFORE you receive the shipment notification email. there may be an additional charge, which i will communicate if applicable.

international shipping rates
i am very pleased to announce that as of march 2024 we now offer less expensive flat rate shipping options for australia, canada, and the united kingdom! for other countries, our less expensive shipping is calculated by weight and distance.
we offer both standard and express delivery speeds and pre-customs clearance!
duties and taxes will be charged at checkout so you will have NO additional surprise fees when the package arrives at your door! you will also have tracking the entire time :-)
